Returning to Kansas City’s historic Westport neighborhood for its 41st event*, Westport is proud to announce the participating artists for Art Westport 2021, Sept. 10-Sept. 12. Art Westport’s panel of jurors – who are distinguished members of the Kansas City art community – selected 119 local, visual artists, to participate in the upcoming event. Artist categories include the following: ceramics, digital art, drawing, emerging artist, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood categories

*Please note: this is technically the 41st Art Westport event, not the 42nd event as mentioned previously.

Produced by the Westport Regional Business League and sponsored by Country Club Bank and Pepsi Cola, the three-day art festival is Kansas City’s largest and oldest outdoor art show exclusively for local, visual artists. During Art Westport, attendees can purchase high-quality, one-of-a-kind artwork, as well as enjoy food and drink or unique shopping from scores of local businesses surrounding the event.

2021 Art Westport Hours

Friday, Sept. 10th: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 11th: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 12th: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Art Westport will take place rain or shine.

Art Westport also showcases exclusively local musicians and entertainers performing throughout the weekend. This year, two stages will highlight local talent: the Westport Road Stage, and the Atomic Provisions Stage. Confirmed performances are outlined below.

Westport Road Stage

Located on Westport Road facing east, in between Jerusalem Café and Pickleman’s, near the front of the steps on Manor Square.

  • Friday, Sept. 10: DJ Savvy Fresh, 6-10 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 11: Comedian Troy Kell, 5-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 11: 2 Proud 2 Beg, 6-10 p.m.

Atomic Provisions Stage

Located in front of Atomic Provisions on Pennsylvania Avenue (Denver Biscuit Co., Fat Sully’s, Frozen Gold).

  • Friday, Sept. 10: Accidental Monguels, 5-9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 11: DJ George, 5-9 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 12: The Waldo Jazz Collective, 12-3 p.m.
