Westport is getting hotter this fall!
October 7th marks the highly anticipated grand opening of Mickey’s Hideaway, replacing one of Westport’s mainstays, McCoy’s Public House. The restaurant will include a large patio, a modern interior and a seasonal menu filled with KC favorites.
Jerusalem Cafe, a long-time Kansas City favorite for Middle Eastern food, has been in Westport for over 30 years and announced recently it will move to a larger space, a block from its current location.
“Development and investment in the area has been very strong during the past year,” said Kim Kimbrough, Executive Director of the Westport Regional Business League. “This walkable area has a nice balance of entertainment, business and residential uses – that attracts people looking to dining out. It is also attractive to investors where the average businesses tenure of 18.5 years leads the region.”
Along with Mickey’s and Jerusalem Cafe’s move, there are over ten businesses that are coming (or have recently opened) in Westport.
