As the new month begins, so does the party here in Westport. Join us during the first weekend of May to kick off the month with Middle of the Map Festival, Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby, all happening right here in Westport.
Middle of the Map Fest – Thursday, May 4 – Saturday, May 6
Middle of the Map Fest a production of Ink Magazine & The Record Machine featuring three days of music, 100+ bands, is starting the month of for us in Westport at Californos, Mills Record Company, Riot Room and Westport Saloon.

Cinco de Mayo at Port Fonda – Friday, May 5
In addition, Port Fonda will be featuring traditional food and drink specials all weekend long to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Be sure to stop by on Friday for a street party with outdoor bar and DJ!
Char Bar Downs – Saturday, May 6
Head to Char Bar’s Backyard from 3-6pm for their Kentucky Derby party! Sip a few Derby inspired cocktails while playing a round of Croquet, and come dressed in your best for our best dressed and best hat contests! Also, Molly Balloons will be here making derby balloon creations!
4th Annual Derby Day Party at Julep – Saturday, May 6
Finally, join Julep for Greatest 2 Minutes in Sports! The Kentucky Derby! Catch the race on their 100-inch screen tv during Julep Derby Day party sponsored by Woodford Reserve, the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby! The party starts at 12pm and guests will receive a complimentary full size Woodford Reserve Julep along with passed hors d’hoeurves leading up to the race.
