Kitchens by Kleweno has been designing specialty kitchens since 1947. Merle Kleweno opened the business after filling appliance orders in the GE warehouse, then progressing to cabinet sales. All of Kitchens by Kleweno’s clients come in with a unique idea or theme in mind that they’ve seen or been seeking. No matter how unusual the design, the team is always able deliver the design and look the customer desires. The team has helped many clients throughout the Kansas City metro, as well as in the four-state area. However, their service hasn’t stopped there. Over the years, they have worked with customers from 25 different states, ranging from Alaska to New York City.
In 1958, Kitchens by Kleweno opened in Westport at 4034 Broadway Boulevard. Being in Westport allows the team to be surrounded by diversity, uniqueness, art and architecture. All of these elements bring a variety of people to the neighborhood, each coming for a different reason. Randall Sisk, who became partner in the business in 1985 and sole 13 years later, says Kitchens by Kleweno loves being in Westport because it is the vibrant heart of Kansas City.
