As many Kansas Citians know, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is just the beginning of the celebration. The annual parade starts at 11am at Linwood & Broadway and ends at 43rd & Broadway where the day long St. Patrick’s Day celebration begins – in Westport. Join us before, during and after the parade on Friday, March 17 to enjoy 10+ outdoor beer gardens complete with plenty of shamrocks, green beer and festive food, as well as plenty of celebrations indoors at your favorite bar or restaurant.
Beer Kitchen – Stop by the corner of Westport Road and Pennsylvania Avenue to celebrate in Beer Kitchen’s outdoor beer garden right in the midst of the St. Patrick’s Day green.
Doughnut Lounge – Car Bomb Doughnut to start the day? You’re in luck. Doughnut Lounge will serve this 21+ doughnut, along with three other St. Patrick’s Day themed doughnuts and a Nodut all day on Friday, March 17. In addition, enjoy your festive doughnuts and cocktails in the outdoor beer garden area.
Ernie Biggs Dueling Piano Bar – Ernie Biggs & Qdoba have come together to bring you live entertainment, full bar AND Mexican fare in their outdoor beer garden in the parking lot behind Qdoba. The Foundry – Live DJs will start the music at noon at the Foundry and continue on through the day until close.

Harry’s Bar & Tables – Harry’s will open early on St. Patrick’s Day at 10:30am.

You can also head inside the Jerusalem Café restaurant for authentic Greek and Balkan dishes.
Johnny Kaw’s – The Johnny Kaw’s St. Patrick’s Day party starts at noon and will feature DJs Pure, Ashton Martin, HIGHNOONE & Hydan.
Kelly’s Westport Inn – At one time, Kelly’s was closed during this highly celebrated event for fear of overcrowding. It’s hard to believe today, since Kelly’s and St. Patrick’s Day are inextricably connected in the minds of local Irish descendants and Irish O’Wannabes. Kelly’s will open early at 10am and feature an outdoor beer garden for your Irish celebration.
McCoy’s Public House – Start your day off bright & early with McCoy’s $10 Blarney Breakfast buffet from 7:30am – 11am, feauring Irish soda bread muffins, steel cut Irish oatmeal with whiskey raisins, buttermilk biscuits & hand-cranked “banger” gravy, spent grain pancakes with blueberries and stout syrup, scrambled eggs, chives & crispy potatoes O’brien, smoked bacon rashers & hand-cranked sausage and more. At noon, live DJs will start in the parking lot and continue until close.
The Bunker – Be sure to stop by and pick up your St. Patrick’s Day green to keep your day pinch-free!
