In 2017, Art Westport, Kansas City’s only outdoor art show exclusively for local artists, celebrates 38 years! On September 8 – 10, 2017, approximately 150 artists will exhibit their work in the streets of the historic Westport district. With an inviting and bustling atmosphere offering unique local shops, exceptional local dining and vivid local nightlife, Westport is the perfect backdrop for the annual high-quality exhibition. Art Westport features a variety of art, including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and much more found in and around Kansas City.

Furthermore, the application to exhibit is open January 15, 2017 – May 31, 2017. To apply, artists must live within an 80-mile radius of the downtown Kansas City, MO Post Office. Interested artists should click here to apply. There is a $25 application fee. In addition, six images are required to apply. Artists may submit two applications to the show.
In addition to the regular show, Art Westport offers an Emerging Artist Program. The Program is designed for artists who have no experience exhibiting and selling artwork in commercial or community art shows/festivals. Upon acceptance, emerging artists receive a 50% discount on a quad space and mentoring through the 2017 Art Westport community. Space is limited for this program.
